Your journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum is supported by your health insurance. It covers:<\/p>\n

  • \u00a07 prenatal check-ups from midwife or doctor (extra with prescription if needed)<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0150 CHF\u00a0towards a birth preparation course<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Your birth in hospital<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Postpartum care at home up to 56 days after birth<\/li>\n
  • \u00a03 breastfeeding consultations<\/li>\n
  • \u00a0Postpartum check-up 6\u20138 weeks after birth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • \u00a0Private birth preparation:\u00a0120 CHF\/hour (approx. 2 hours)<\/li>\n
    • \u00a0Midwife consultation \/ counselling:\u00a0120 CHF\/hour<\/li>\n
    • Postpartum on-call fee 115 CHF \/Some municipalities and health insurances contribute to the cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The on-call fee (Pikettgeld) means I am available 24\/7 from week 35 until birth.<\/p>\n

      • I keep my schedule free and can join you as soon as labour starts.<\/li>\n
      • It gives you peace of mind knowing a familiar midwife will be there, any time of day or night.<\/li>\n
      • You can prepare calmly, without worrying who will support you at birth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
