Postpartum Care

The first days and weeks after birth are a sensitive and important time. I offer regular home visits to support you physically and emotionally,  with knowledge, calm presence, and care.

What postpartum care includes

• Up to 10 visits for mothers with previous births
• Up to 16 visits for first-time mothers, C-section, premature birth or twins
• Can be extended with a doctor’s prescription

What is monitored

• Uterine involution and healing
• Bleeding, stitches, or other birth-related issues
• Breast health and breastfeeding support
• Baby’s development and general well-being
• Umbilical cord care, vitamin K, Guthrie test

I also offer individual guidance and emotional support on any questions related to postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, baby care and family adjustment.
